Ok, ok, I know what you’re saying to yourself: “enough of the Philippines footage already! It was awesome and gorgeous, we get it!” So no worries, this is the LAST Philippines post you’ll see for a while as we transition back into Central American retreats. This is a pretty good one though, so be sure to check it out and if you’re interested in being added to the list of potential Amigas for a Philippines 2014 retreat, email me at [email protected]

Exploring the Sohoton Caves in the Philippines

On a small day of surf in the Philippines, we hopped on a couple of boats and journeyed to the Sohoton Caves. We had no idea what to expect and were pleasantly surprised by gorgeous water, super cute sting-less jelly fish, and very adventurous caving. The tide was pretty high which made entering the caves even more of an adventure.

Surf With Amigas in the Philippines!

Conde Nast Traveller calls the Philippines one of the destinations to watch in 2013:
“For travellers willing to go the extra thousand miles for a deserted beach, the Philippines has around 7,000 of the most heavenly islands in the world. It’s still not the most obvious beach-holiday destination, but it soon will be.”

We like to focus on going to more out of the way places with serious “WOW” factors. The Philippines is one of those places. Getting to different areas of the country is no issue either, as Travelfoot will show you. We have two retreats in April and they are both filling up, but there are still a few spots remaining!
