4-Day Baja Mini Retreat

“A quick trip to Northern Baja to get your surf-fix with SWA.”

This experience is for: Surfers who have progressed beyond riding whitewater waves and want to work on taking off, surfing down the line, and turning. Open to advanced beginners and intermediate level surfers who ride all board lengths.

THE Surf-view House

We’ll stay at a two-story four-bedroom, three bath surf house with stunning 180 degree ocean views from the front deck and plenty of relaxing lounge space. Picture post-surf hangs on the outdoor terrace while you admire the most picturesque coastline. The surf house is located in a private gated community with around-the-clock security, a private sandy beach out front, and a pool and hot tub with incredible ocean views. The community boasts ocean views around every corner, with bougainvillea spilling over flagstone paths that lead all the way down to the private beach.

THE SURF

We’ll surf a playful rock-bottom right-hand break that’s great for all board lengths. The spot is right out front of the house, so we’ll get a chance to be looking at it all day and jump out when the conditions are right. The long rights roll softly along the reef, giving surfers time to practice turns, pumping, and wave selection. The waves at this retreat are especially awesome for intermediate surfers who want to continue progressing their surf skills.

Price: starting at $1500 for a shared room for 2 people. Three private room upgrades available.

Getting There:

All Amigas and Coaches will meet at 9:00 AM in San Diego at a designated meeting point to travel to Mexico together. The group will share a van from the meeting point to the border. One of your coaches will accompany you while walking across the US/Mexico border at Tijuana. After crossing the border the group will continue traveling together to the retreat.
