THE waves

This women’s surf retreat in Spain is the perfect place to hone your beach break skills and boost your wave-reading abilities. The beach closest to the cottage (just a 5 minute walk!) has long rolling white water waves perfect for first-time surfers, and friendly waves for advanced beginners who are catching green waves and going down the line. If you’re a seasoned longboarder, you can work on your cross-steps! If the swell isn’t working out front, we may take a drive along the coast to explore other waves too! All of the beaches are sand-bottom and offer rights and lefts.

THE SURF COaching

At the Seaside Village Retreat in Northern Spain we offer world-class surf retreats for women of all ages. Our surf coaching program honors the physical stamina, mental resilience, and emotional shifts that come with surfing. From overcoming fear in big swells and fine-tuning technical skills, to navigating the lineup or maybe just catching your very first waves, our expert surf coaches will support your journey every step of the way.

The Cottage

At the Spanish Seaside Village Surf Retreat you’ll stay in a beautiful stone cottage located in a small seaside village in the heart of the Galician coast in Northern Spain, just a 5 minute walk from a beautiful beach where you will get to surf. The cottage features a cozy living room and various bedrooms, an indoor pool, a spacious garden and a perfect chill-out area for post-surf relaxation. Wifi is available. We’ll be nestled in a rural community where the few neighbors are mostly engaged in farming or fishing. Expect daily greetings by cows and the roosters at dawn!

This historic area sits along the path of the famous, ‘Camino de Santiago Lighthouse Way’, hiking trail. The trail itself is famous for its rugged beauty featuring cliffs, sandy beaches, dunes and forests.

Price Range Per Person : starting at $2850 to $3650. Variety of shared rooms for 2 people and private room options (pending availability).

Getting There:

Book your flight into Santiago-Rosalía de Castro Airport (SCQ). Depending on where you’re coming from, you’ll probably have to fly through a major European hub such as Madrid, Dublin, or Brussels.
