Gina Andrews

Gina Andrews grew up in San Diego and spent much of her childhood in and around the ocean. She learned to surf with her family and fell in love with everything the coast had to offer—from beach days and tide pools, to chasing waves and soaking up time in the water. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong connection to the ocean and the sense of fun, freedom, and community that comes with it.

After moving to San Luis Obispo, Gina built a career in education, teaching Science and Physical Education. Her work has given her the opportunity to encourage curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning while helping students step outside their comfort zones and try new things.

Now living in Santa Cruz, Gina continues to center her life around the ocean. When she’s not teaching, you’ll likely find her surfing, exploring the coastline, hiking local trails, or enjoying time outdoors with friends and family. She loves sharing her enthusiasm for the ocean, and helping others feel connected, and stoked in the water.
