THE accommodations

Stay at a jungle-style lodge thats just steps from the waves. We can literally surf right out front! The lodge features 6 cabinas that are rustic but comfortable, a central hangout zone with wifi, ocean-view yoga space, and a surf deck right on the beach for resting between sessions and watching the unforgettable sunsets. The property is surrounded by gorgeous well-kept gardens, and is the perfect place to really slow down and connect to nature. There is even a small private waterfall on the property to cool down in the heat of the day. This retreat is for surfers who are down for a true back-to-nature jungle experience! For those of you who have gone to our original “Jungle Retreat” in Southern Costa Rica- this spot is just a few minutes further south on our favorite dirt road!

This region in Costa Rica is regarded as one of the most biologically diverse places in the world. Expect to see monkeys, sloths, toucans, scarlet macaws and a variety of other local creatures! We’ll ride horses deep into the jungle, explore hidden waterfalls, and have an Amigas’ night out on the town. We’ll even learn to make chocolate and shop locally-made products. Most of all, we’ll relax and reconnect with nature.

THE SURF

With a fun reef-break wave directly out front (it’s literally right there), a few gentler waves (with lefts and rights) down the beach, and a couple world class breaks nearby, each day we’ll be on a surf safari to get you into the best waves possible. If the swell is bigger we’ll be on a mission to surf some of the longest left point breaks in the world. We break up the group by ability so that everyone gets what they’re looking for and we don’t show up anywhere with a big crowd!

Price: Starting at $2300 for a room for 3, $2450 for a room for 2, $2600 for a private (pending availability)

Getting There:

To book your flight, first fly into San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO), then take a domestic flight to Golfito. There are several flights per day into Golfito – an early morning, a midday, and a later afternoon flight. For the flight from San Jose to Golfito, you need to book with Sansa Air directly – you can’t use other booking platforms.
