Ellie Dixon

Ellie Dixon, (or just Dixon to most) grew up in the Midlands in the UK, far from the ocean but always chasing the outdoors. Her teenage years were spent on climbing trips to Scotland and the Lake District, summiting mountains and chasing new routes. About seven years ago, she moved to the Welsh coast and discovered surfing where everything changed. Longboarding quickly stole her heart, and she’s all about keeping surfing creative, community-based, and not taking it too seriously.

Now based in Swansea, Ellie spends her summers as a beach lifeguard and most of her free time in or around the water. Off the waves, she’s usually gardening, planning van trips, or embracing her role as the, “side quest queen”, whether that’s a spontaneous swim, learning to juggle, or just a good chat in the sun. Sometimes she spends more time laughing in the lineup than catching waves, but that’s all part of the fun.
