Surf Coach
Erin Dark
Erin Dark grew up in Gerringong, a small surf town south of Sydney, where she fell in love with the ocean through surf lifesaving and bodyboarding before jumping on her first surfboard at age nine. She grew up being part of the local boardriders club and spent every spare moment in the water.
As a teenager, she competed in both longboard and shortboard events which sparked her passion for surf and travel. Erin began coaching when she was 15 years old and later moved to the Gold Coast to chase waves and warm water. On the Gold Coast she worked as a surf coach, lifeguard, and earned a business degree along the way.
Her passion for surfing and travel has taken her around the world, coaching and guiding in places like Bali, the Mentawais, Maldives, and Costa Rica. Erin is all about sharing her love for surfing and making sure everyone in the water is having a good time.
