This experience is for: Surfers who want to learn to stand up for the very first time or more advanced surfers who want to improve their skills at an easy-to-travel to location. Open to all surf levels and all board lengths.
THE HOTEL
Located just outside of the Las Baulas National Park, this retreat is held at locally-owned hotel that feels like a quiet little hideaway. A 2 minute walk down a private trail through lush foliage takes you to a long stretch of sandy beach with fun waves right out front! The boutique hotel features comfortable private and shared rooms with A/C and hot water, mini fridges and coffee makers. Lounge by the pool in between surf sessions or socialize with other travelers at the bistro cafe next door. At this little slice of paradise you can connect with nature while still enjoying modern comforts.
THE SURF
Situated on the same beach but a bit further south of our original Northern Costa Rica retreat location, there are sandy beach break waves for all skill levels. The waves out front of the hotel are excellent for surfers looking to build foundational surf skills and those who are trying surfing for the first time. More experienced surfers looking for more challenge will surf a bit further down the beach. We will break up the group by ability level so everyone gets waves and coaching specific to their goals.
Northern Costa Rica Palm Beach Retreat Details
Price: starting at $2900 for a room for 2 with two queen beds. Private rooms are plentiful at $3300, with one bigger private villa for $3400.

Getting There:
To book your flight, fly directly into Liberia International Airport (LIR) or into San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO), then connect to a domestic flight to Liberia. The resort is about 90 min from Liberia. Detailed information will be provided in the booking process.
