The idea of hosting SWA retreats in Peru was born in conversation with one of our newest additions to the Surf With Amigas surf instructor team, Natalie. Natalie has been living and surfing in Peru for the past few years where she’s hosted plenty of surf retreats with her non-profit organization, Groundswell Community Project.

The longest left in the world

After chatting about Peru, the waves, the history and the people, Natalie totally stoked us out on holding SWA retreats there and sharing waves in her backyard! The retreat spot, Chicama, is home to the longest left in the world. It was easy to convince the team that it would be EPIC to surf with Amigas on another world class left point break. You know how we love those!

June 14 Retreat Highlights

The week of June 14th we were blessed with really awesome conditions and an incredible group of enthusiastic, positive, and supportive Amigas. We had clean small-medium sized waves, surfers of all abilities pushing themselves and cheering for eachother, and a really special group of personalities that all jived super well together. Thanks for the good times and I can’t wait to surf with these ladies again!

We like to boogie. We know how to get down. We are usually in bed by 9pm so we can get up early and shred, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t time for a little Salsa!

Womens Surf Coaching Sessions

Now taking reservations for Surf, Yoga, Adventure Retreats

Dates Available:
November 19 – 26
January 14 – 21

These sessions focus more heavily on the surf. We’ll get up early, be on it when the tide is best, and surf as much as possible. If you are willing to push yourself and listen to feedback you will leave the session a stronger and more confident surfer.

$1,600 all inclusive package includes ($1,500 early booking special):
– two way airport transfer (if you get a flight that arrives on saturday morning and departs on saturday afternoon – I recommend Taca or American)
– 7 nights accommodation in a shared cabana
– 3 deliciously healthy meals per day
– all beverages (juices, sodas, beer, rum)
– personal surf coaching by professional surfer Holly Beck
– daily yoga sessions (and other activities like horseback riding)
– at least one boat trip (conditions permitting)
