Women-founded, led, and focused, Surf With Amigas started facilitating surf-travel adventures in 2010: creating empowering experiences and a community where people enjoy the ocean through surfing, restore their bodies with daily yoga, eat delicious locally-sourced food, give back to the local community, and share in wild adventures together. 

     The world has changed quite a bit since those early days of running retreats. While there is still nothing like bouncing down a dirt road in a rusty old truck piled high with boards, staying connected, empowered and inspired is easier now than ever before. At The Collective we continue to embody the funny, supportive, knowledgeable and wild nature that is at the core of Surf With Amigas. Our mission is to take that uniquely Surf With Amigas experience and make it accessible any time, any place.

     Surfing, to us, is a multifaceted lifestyle. At The Collective, we aspire to facilitate the cultivation of a truly holistic surf practice by fostering a deeper connection with your body, mind, and the ocean. To us, this means not only providing the resources to progress your knowledge of all things surf, but also nutrition, mental and emotional well-being, and physical self-care. Join our community of adventurers, supporting and inspiring each other in surfing and in life.

Whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced surfer looking to improve, our expert instructors are here to guide you. From popping up for the first time to tube riding techniques, the Surf With Amigas Collective has complete tutorials for surfers of all levels.

Here at the Collective we offer our own flavor of yoga. It is made to get in there and stretch all of those hard to reach surf muscles. We have yoga for relaxation, yoga for invigoration, yoga for surfing but one thing is for sure you will end each of our classes feeling a little more centered and with a big smile.

How many words should people add in their bios? I wonder how long they should write for about themselves? One hundred words doesn’t seem like very much but if it is longer I am afraid that it will look bad. What do you think? Now that I have made the grid three instead of four wide maybe that will be better. And then people can write more about them selves in third person. All about who they are and what they are about and how much they love what they do and all of that jazz. I wonder how many words this is? I also do not want to make the creators write an entire essay about themselves that would be really difficult and that is why I never did mine for surf with amigas
