There’s a solid crop of young local surfers coming out of the Coco Loco area so we decided to give them a chance to battle out for a new surfboard at the first ever Coco Loco Classic Surfing Invitational. Coco Loco point was firing with overhead waves and offshore winds with a good tide for the event. We had 9 competitors competing. In the final there was a tie between Victor and Daniel (the event favorites) for first and second. On the count back to break the tie, 16 year old Daniel walked away with the win and a Rusty Surfboard. Good times!
