I hadn’t surfed in a contest in years and it took me a while to re-adjust to the 15 min, best 2 waves, paddle-battle mentality. Unfortunately, the waves were small and the wind turned onshore for the final, but it was still a super fun event, the chicks were ripping, and I ended up with 2nd place!
