Enjoy the highlights video from our second October surf yoga adventure retreat in El Salvador. There were some super long rides where Amigas were learning to do cutbacks on longboards and a lot of dancing. Come surf with us in El Salvador in October/November 2015. One of the unique features of the geography of El Salvador is the short distance between the coast and the cloud forest that sits atop a steep mountain range. In addition to the amount of perfect right point breaks along the country’s gorgeous coastline, the inland topography is home to a cooler climate, rushing waterfalls, hot springs, and an organic farming culture. Though surfing is always the priority, sometimes it’s nice to take an afternoon off to see what else a country has to offer. Just a short trip up the mountain from our spot and we’ll be amongst the clouds, sipping organic coffee, tasting homemade chocolate, shopping for woven textiles, and finding a waterfall adventure.

We are excited to announce that pro surfer, organic farmer, and all around awesome human Kim Mayer will be attending the October El Salvador retreats as the pro surfer coach in 2014.

Holly and Kim spent years traveling the world together for competitions and photo shoots. According to Holly, “Kim Mayer is probably one of the coolest people on the planet. She’s always stoked, always positive, jams on the guitar, kills it with a soccer ball, is up for any adventure, is the one most likely to make friends with every random person she comes across, plus she totally rips at surfing!”
Since Holly will have a brand new baby by the time October rolls around, travel to El Salvador isn’t feasible. Luckily Kim is available and excited to fill in.
