At Surf With Amigas we are always inspired by ladies who consider surfing and adventures to be lifelong pursuits. At 62, Marilyn Edwards is hot, fit, and very stylish on her surfboard. She published a womens surf magazine called Wahine for a few years in the late 90s and is very knowledgeable on the sport. In this video she gives some advice on staying young and shares some of her personal philosophy. Very inspiring!

We had a trio of friends from South Carolina bring their smooth surfing styles to a surf yoga retreat. They were tons of fun to hang out with both on land and in the water. Here’s a highlight video just for them.

On our very last retreat of the Summer season in Northern Nicaragua we got super lucky with good swell, great conditions and a more shredding than usual crew of ladies. We even had a shortboard ripper from NorCal who showed up and inspired the beginners to go harder! It was a crazy fun week!
Here’s the highlight video of our second of two surf yoga adventure retreats in Panama in 2015. All the Amigas got really long rides and seriously improved their surfing so we’re planning on heading back in 2016. Dates to be announced!

We are obsessed with our Costa Rican location, hidden at the end of the road, on the edge of the jungle. It’s such an awesome spot that we’ve added two bonus retreats in September 2015. Faced with a two week break, a few of the Surf With Amigas instructors adventured over to Bocas Del Toro, Panama for a little surf adventure. Here’s a quick little behind the scenes look at their trip. There is unfortunately no surfing footage because none of them wanted to sit on the beach and film (not surprising).
